see release notes.

The BigBlueButton project was started in 2007 by Blindside Networks. In addition our work on BigBlueButton core, we created this module so you can fully leverage BigBlueButton's capabilities from within your Drupal sites.

What this module does

- Pre-set multiple meeting rooms for on-line sessions accessible from your site
- Restrict users (viewers) from joining a session until a privileged user (moderator) joins the session
- Launch BigBlueButton in a separate window (in development)
- Create a custom welcome message that appears at the top of the chat window when joining the session
- Record a session (requires BigBlueButton 0.8 or later)
- Access and mange recordings

How it works

The BigBlueButtonBN module works out-of-the-box with test-install.blindsidenetworks.com, a BigBlueButton server that Blindside Networks maintains for the community to help test your installation with BigBlueButton.

The following YouTube video to demonstrate how to install and use this module.

Potential Issues

The BigBlueButton client is a Flash component embedded in a HTML web page. So when users join in a BigBluebutton session, they need all the capabilities offered by the browser. For administrators the join feature will not work when the Drupal overlay module is enabled.
