Field UI Extras

This module provides additional information on Field UI screens (e.g., Manage Fields). The main goal of the project is to reduce the number of clicks it takes to get information about the fields on your site. After installing you will immediately notice the enhancements.

Extras Include:

• "Required" indicator
• Information about many core fields, including:
  • [All Types]: Limit (number of values)
  • Boolean: Yes/no labels
  • Date: Date type
  • Entity Reference: Which bundles are referenced
  • File: Max/min size, directory, extensions
  • File: Warning if alt text not required
  • File: Warning if directory not specified
  • File: Warning if max filesize not specified
  • Integer: Min, max, prefix, suffix
  • List: Allowed values
  • Text: Max length
• Information about contributed field/entity types, including Paragraphs

Upcoming Additional Extras:

• References will be shown as links to the bundles
• Settings form fields will be available to toggle various warnings
• Field info will include which displays each field appears within
• Field info will include wysiwyg settings for text fields
