Meta Knowledge Base

The intention of Meta Knowledge Base is to provide a transferable and modifiable MKB template based on Drupalâ„¢, which can be implemented in ERA-NETs and similar projects.

The intentions of the Meta Knowledge Base website are two-fold:

1. Support of ERA-NET activities which involve the research, development and innovation community of relevance for the ERA-NET themes; typical activities are mapping and conduction of calls.
2. Support of the management of the ERA-NET, including internal communication, meeting calendar, document repository and management of calls.

ERA-NET community

The community facilities are based on inputs from the people constituting the community. Anybody can register as user in the website, add a profile including a CV and add information about organisations. These data provide the mapping of the the research area, which is a typical deliverable of an ERA-NET. The data provide also opportunities for partnering and establishment of consortia prior to and during the development of applications to the transnational calls launched by the ERA-NET. There is an efficient tool for online writing and submission of applications.

ERA-NET management

The modules creates an intranet with access restricted to the ERA-NET partners. The intranet provide tools efficient management of the ERA-NET, including internal communication, meeting calendar, document repository, etc. The facilities for managing the applications to calls provide online tools for evaluation by funding agencies and independent experts as well as selection of projects with respect to efficient use of the available funding. The online submission and call management system can be custom-tailored to various needs ERA-NETs may have.
