Note: Khan is going to be a theme generator for Drupal 8 themes. It is NOT going to be a base theme because I firmly believe that, with Drupal 8 and the amazing improvements to the theme layer, base themes are no longer necessary. Or rather: You do no longer need to "fix" the theme layer by introducing a contrib base theme to your stack.
This project is currently on halt until I am done working on the upcoming version of GraphQL for Drupal (http://drupal.org/project/graphql).
