So, you have a usernode. Do you want to make further sense of it? ;)

Having a user a node gives also the possibility to post comments on a user. Let's use these comments as guestbook entries!

usernode_guestbook is another way of implementing a guestbook functionality besides the former guestbook module. If you want a guestbook that behaves in a different way to usual comments and you don't have usernode module installed, use guestbook. But if you have installed usernode already in order to display users in views module, and you want your guestbook entries to look and to behave in the very same way as usual comments do, then you should consider to choose this module.

This module was inspired by Angie Byron's article at lullabot.com on How to create Flickr in Drupal. It automates the creation of a Flickr type gallery community, where you can search for photos by user or by category. The module provides:

The Pingback module enables Drupal to send and receive pingbacks to and from nodes. It is a pingback user agent as specified in the Pingback 1.0 specification.

Features:

Signatures for Forums tweaks signatures in ways inspired by other traditional forum software.

1. when a user changes their signature, all their posts will be updated;
2. signatures are automatically added to posts, instead of being inserted into the post text;
3. the administrator can choose the input filter for signatures, allowing BBCode -- if the BBCode module is installed -- or HTML to be used;
4. signatures are longer than the the Drupal default
5. conditional signatures, these are hidden, or rel=nofollow'd if a post is under a particular length;
6. show signature only once per conversation;

This module was developed for The Webmaster Forums (who have recently moved to Drupal--yes, we do like Drupal's forum!)

This module allows users to write a letter to newspaper editors. It will allow users to enter a zip code and a search radius and will then display a dropdown list of available newspapers and a letter submission form.

This module depends on the Location module to enable zipcode-based searches of available newspapers. Be sure that you have enabled the Location module and installed the zipcode data packaged with it.

Advanced Forum builds on and enhances Drupal's core forum module. When used in combination with other Drupal contributed modules, many of which are automatically used by Advanced Forum, you can achieve much of what stand alone software provides. Because it uses the core forum module, it uses the node and comment system built into Drupal and is completely integrated, not a bridge. While it doesn't have all of the features of stand alone forum applications, being completely integrated into your site provides advantages that they don't.

With the built in Drupal fourm module, items are handled just like nodes and comments on those nodes. One shortcomming with this approach is that the permissions for comments also apply to forum posts. What this means is that you can not have moderated comments and un-moderated forums, or vice-versa.

This module fixes that. It allows you to select which node types are "always moderated".

Note the HEAD version of Messagebox is under active development - with several changes to the database structure as I move to make it easier to integrate into the node structure of drupal. I will attempt to make it easy for you to migrate over to the newer releases as I make changes. i.e. provide import functionality from your previous version of messagebox, messenger and also privatemsg.

It's very unlikely any new features will be added to this module. Bug fixes can still be reported though. I can suggest the excellent alternative Facebook Status which seems to do a bit of the same thing.

The dodge module mimics the Twitter functionality in a very basic way.
