The Hotspot modules provides integration between Drupal and captive portal access controllers. Use with CoovaChilli or a compatible access controller to turn your Drupal website site into a captive portal. Have users login, sign-up, or buy access - anything is possible in Drupal!
Anyone wanting integration with other access controllers or routers is encouraged to contribute!
Got some time to work on this module now. if you guys want some feature requests place it as issue i will take care of those. drupal6 porting is going on.. if you guys need any alternatives see below.
If you require forum posts to be nodes, not comments, another option (with a D6 -dev version and currently maintained) might be Nodeforum, which works with Nodecomments like Flexiforum.

This project uses Nodequeue's Smartqueue API to provide a nodequeue for each organic group, editable by members of that group or the group's administrators. This project was part of the 2008 Google Summer of Code.
Use the dev snapshot release or the latest from CVS HEAD until RC3 is rolled
Please download the latest development snapshot.
This project uses Nodequeue's Smartqueue API to provide a nodequeue for each user of one or more specified roles.
This project was originally written by ezra-g as part of the 2008 Google Summer of Code and provides the following functionality in the list below.
The 6.x-2.x branch is a rewrite by daniboy that allow for multiple subqueues per-user.
I have abandoned this module. If anyone wishes to take over maintenance or use the name 'bounty' for a new project, then contact me.
This module facilitates 'collaborative funding'.
PM Lite is a lightweight private messaging module that defines a new PM content type and creates PMs as nodes. The main idea behind this module is that private messages represent content on a site with extremely limited access. This module defines the private message node type and adds a recipient field to its creation form where users can enter single or multiple recipients. Once created, private messages may not be modified and can only be viewed by the author and the recipients.
The goal of the module is to remain as small as possible. By creating private messages as nodes, if you need functionality beyond what the module provides, you can build it yourself using any number of contributed modules that were designed to work with Drupal's node system.
This module allows your website to subscribe people to google groups via:
- Drupal's user registration system
- Custom subscription blocks (one per list)
- Call from your own custom module
Please note that the 6.x-1.1 and 6.x-1.x-dev version of Nodeforum are now compatible with the 6.x-2.x branch of Nodecomment. The 6.x-1.0 version of Nodeforum is compatible with the 6.x-1.x branch of Nodecomment.
The nodeforum module is a complimentary module to the nodecomment module. It makes the comments used in the forum nodecomments so they will be able to use all advantages of the node-system.
Code originally committed to CVS by eaton.
The engine for 5 Second Game is built on a Rock-Scissors-Paper concept. There are three stats, corresponding to that, and everything modifies that: character classes, skills, combat, etc. It is meant to be a fast paced, easy to grasp, infinitely extensible game.
The game is designed to be fit into an embeddable widget, so that users may post the game in a blog or other page, allowing others to quickly and easily play the game. A widget may highlight that user's character, challenging all takers.
The game lends itself well to guilds and the like as well, which are also built into the system. Characters may belong to one or more guilds, which govern themselves as desired by their players. The system honors the guilds' wishes, so that characters belonging to a specific user-formed guild might gain certain bonuses (or suffer penalties) according to the guild charters.
Additionally, servers may choose to allow characters to migrate between certain other servers. The character may be "translated" during migration, so that world/genre integrity is maintained (if desired). However, the simplicity of the system lends itself easily to that, if an administrator doesn't mind a gun-toting sheriff to arrive at the scene of a medieval tournament, or conversely if the player of a high elf wizard doesn't mind being translated to a nanobotic engineer on a space station.
You can play the game at http://5secondgame.com to see it in action (once it's built...)
