Drupal 8 Note on Multilevel Dropdown Menus
To get multilevel menus to work as in our demo you need to be aware of some settings. Same as in Drupal 7 it is important to edit parent menu items and check the option "Show as expanded". Uniquely to Drupal 8 it is also needed to visit the block layout page at admin/structure/block, click Configure on the Main navigation block and set the following in the menu levels fieldset:
- Initial visibility: 1
- Number of levels to display: 3
