A bootstrap 3 grids (and only grids. does include Responsive Utilities classes. see bootstrap docs: bootstrap|3.3 grids) based theme. This theme does not use any bootstrap related JS allowing you to use any component as you wish, rather than stacking alot of code that you may not even want.

This theme base is not 'styled-out'. It is meant to give a simple starting point to work up to your sites actual design intent. Therefore, it is ugly. Please use is as you wish, either by sub-themeing or just re-write it as you need. Similar to using Stark as your starting point, but with a common steady grid system which many other modules work with

D8 line has integration with Breakpoint module.

Currently, no theme settings for basic column widths exist. Use template.php (D7) or dawn.theme (D8) to adjust as columns you see fit.
