About This Node creates a block that displays information about the node you're viewing. It allows users to see, at a glance, the following information without clicking "Edit" or digging into revision history:
This module "hijacks" the delete button from the delete confirmation form and unpublishes nodes instead of deleting them. Nodes can be truly deleted
at admin/content/node or by logging in as the first user on the system (aka UID 1). To do delete from admin/content/node, select nodes you want to delete and in "Update options" choose "delete".

I haven't been maintaining this module, largely because I don't use it myself. Its functionality is easy to create with just a few lines of custom code. Stephenh made a tutorial handbook page on http://drupal.org/node/562744 to walk through how to alter your my account page with code, geared to those who have never written Drupal code before. My recommendation is to follow his tutorial instead of relying on this module.
Default Roles allows multiple roles to be granted (and/or revoked) by each group. This is useful if you wish to use membership in certain groups to grant site-wide roles/permissions. For instance, you could have an "Editors" group, whose members will be automatically granted several appropriate roles at the time they join the "Editors" group.
This module provides a generic membership entity and an optional "membership provider" plugin type.
While this module shares a namespace with earlier Drupal 5/6 modules, it does not inherit any code or architecture.
Development occurs on GitHub (fork and submit pull requests there) while utilizing the Drupal.org issue queue.
This project is still very much under development and meta-discussions around future plans and architecture are welcome.
Virtual Sites offers almost the same (and more) functionality as the Drupal multi-site feature without the need for the complicated setup of that feature. Depending on conditions (e.g. requested url or user role) handled by the Condition(s) module (bundled with Virtual Sites starting with the 7.x version), you can override theme, site information, menus and more to virtually present the visitor with a different website.
BlockTerm lets you specify taxonomy terms to show this block on. When you visit a page where the node is tagged with one of these terms, the block will show, otherwise it won't.
