Content Access Control

How many times have you created a private content just to see your group, but would like some other group would be able to view this content without editing it and others can not see private content in your group?

This module provides the ability to give permission to display on a particular node, which was set to private for the group, a group to which the user is not a member. The groups have chosen only the ability to view, without compromising system security.

Provides markup to indicate user roles and roles that can access restricted content.

This module allows you to restrict access to a comment by changing the theme of the comment if there is private.

Installation and configuration

Normally install the module in sites/all/modules, and enable it,
then go to admin/structure/types/manage/YOUR_CONTENT_TYPE/comment/fields and add a boolean field with the machine name field_private_comment.
Set it with
On value : Private comment
Off value : Public comment

What is this module?

This module extends the Services_Views module by creating an additional resource to a Services View endpoints. The additional resource appends "_edit" to the services endpoint path.

"<services_endpoint>_edit"

You can then access this endpoint like any other and will return the list of fields associated with given services view, and their respective attributes.

Attributes:

Unlisted adds a checkbox for 'Unlisted' to the node publishing options. Unlisted nodes are not access controlled, simply excluded from all Views listings. This makes for a casual publishing workflow in which an author can send a link to someone to review a post before listing it publicly. This is especially useful in cases where the reviewer may not want the barrier of logging in, or the author may not want the hassle of complicated access control choices.

Workbench State Permissions provides additional permissions for each Workbench state. Here's example for the 'Draft' state:
- Each Workbench state:
- Draft: View all content
- Draft: Edit all content
- Draft: Delete all content
- Each Workbench state for user's own content:
- Draft: View own content
- Draft: Edit own content
- Draft: Delete own content
- And new permissions for own Workbench Moderation transitions:
- Moderate own content from Draft to Needs Review

AUL module contains API and UI for node access system. AUL module can be useful in your project when content access logic is not simple.

AUL(Access User Lists) is very similar to the ACL(Access Control Lists). The difference that AUL creates access per user and adds nodes to it(ACL works vice versa. It creates grand per node and adds users).

This module adds a checkbox in the edition form of each content type. Once checked, the content of each node of this content type will be uneditable (even by its creator).
